Calibre 3X62 is a GPS Solar movement that receives signals from GPS satellites to set the exact atomic time automatically. At the press of a button, it syncs to one of 39 time zones worldwide in under 3 seconds. It requires no battery replacement — the photovoltaic cell converts any light source into electrical energy stored in a rechargeable capacitor, providing approximately Approx. 6 months (fully charged) of reserve on a full charge. The movement includes automatic DST adjustment and a perpetual calendar updated via GPS.
Functions delivered by Calibre 3X62: Hours, Minutes, Seconds, Date, World Time (39 zones), Power Reserve, GPS Sync, DST Auto.
The 41.2 mm case is constructed from Titanium with Super-Hard DLC Coating with a brushed titanium with hard coating; mirror-polished accents finish. The solid screw-down caseback ensures water resistance integrity. The sapphire crystal (super-clear coating) sits above the dial, providing excellent scratch resistance and clarity.
The fixed smooth bezel completes the clean aesthetic. The screw-lock push-button crown provides a secure seal against water ingress.
The Horizontal striped metallic lacquered metal features applied baton / sword style with lumibrite. LumiBrite — Seiko's proprietary strontium aluminate photoluminescent compound — is applied to the hands and hour markers, providing a reliable green glow in low-light and darkness without any radioactive materials. The date display at Date integrated; power reserve at 7:30 is set via the crown.
Supplied on a Titanium integrated bracelet (hard-coated) with lug width of 14 mm (integrated). The fold-over deployant clasp with push-button release provides secure fastening . The integrated bracelet design is a fixed architectural element of this model.
Rated to 100 m / 10 ATM / 10 bar. Suitable for swimming, snorkelling and water sports. Not recommended for scuba diving.

Not only this is my favorite Chrono from Festina, it was purchased in France, carrying many memories. Now refreshed with the better than the original blueish strap, becoming a bright yellow touch, instantly recognized, wherever I wear it. Looks like I‘ve got the last available strap. That makes it even more fancy! Lucky I am!
The SRP031 is a beautiful high contrast simple dial. The numerals and markings are crisp bright white. There is a small red triangle at the date opening. The "Seiko" marking seems to be a gunmetal hue which is also quite nice and either blends in or shines against the very matte black dial face depending on the angle. One thing of note, unlike it's big brother the SRP043, this dial has absolutely no Lume on it, not anywhere. I am guessing this was done for the markings to be as white as possible.
Original Seiko part fits perfectly.

Excellent quality
Had trouble getting the item the first time. The dial was returned to holland and had to be shipped out again. BUT they were very communicative and allowed me to add a second hand to the order that was out of stock for my first order. Very pleased. Amazing product, my first real seiko dial!
Beautiful deep teal-green glacial ice dial
The shroud took a little bit over a week to arrive, but it was pretty quick considering that I live in Australia, it came perfectly secured inside the packaging with the original Seiko part number label, super easy to replace and great quality. I hope that they stock them again soon to buy another one just in case I need it in the future.

So I like to mess with beat up watches found on various auction sites. They are often sad and neglected pieces therefore I have several ‘go to’ suppliers that have the hard to find NOS items required to bring the watches back to life.
