Not only this is my favorite Chrono from Festina, it was purchased in France, carrying many memories. Now refreshed with the better than the original blueish strap, becoming a bright yellow touch, instantly recognized, wherever I wear it. Looks like I‘ve got the last available strap. That makes it even more fancy! Lucky I am!

The SRP031 is a beautiful high contrast simple dial. The numerals and markings are crisp bright white. There is a small red triangle at the date opening. The "Seiko" marking seems to be a gunmetal hue which is also quite nice and either blends in or shines against the very matte black dial face depending on the angle. One thing of note, unlike it's big brother the SRP043, this dial has absolutely no Lume on it, not anywhere. I am guessing this was done for the markings to be as white as possible.

Had trouble getting the item the first time. The dial was returned to holland and had to be shipped out again. BUT they were very communicative and allowed me to add a second hand to the order that was out of stock for my first order. Very pleased. Amazing product, my first real seiko dial!

Beautiful deep teal-green glacial ice dial

The shroud took a little bit over a week to arrive, but it was pretty quick considering that I live in Australia, it came perfectly secured inside the packaging with the original Seiko part number label, super easy to replace and great quality. I hope that they stock them again soon to buy another one just in case I need it in the future.

So I like to mess with beat up watches found on various auction sites.
